June 10 dinner will feature food representing world religions
Rice University’s Boniuk Center hosting ‘A Feast of Faiths’ fundraiser at Houston City Club

Food representing world religions will be served at a June 10 fundraiser hosted by Rice University’s Boniuk Center for the Study and Advancement of Religious Tolerance. Proceeds from “A Feast of Faiths” will benefit the center’s outreach initiatives to foster religious tolerance among Houston youth.

The business-attire dinner will be held at 7 p.m. at the Houston City Club, One City Club Drive. The United Nations Association Houston Choir will perform.

Chefs for the event and the religions their food will represent are:

Ojan Bagher, executive chef at the Houston City Club, Islam.

Patti Ramsey, owner of Epicurean Group LLC and Epicurean Delight & Epicurean Lite, Christianity.

Kay Soodjai, owner of Khun Kay Thai Café, Buddhism.

Jenny Tavor, owner of Jenny Tavor Custom Catering, Judaism.

Suneeta Vaswani, author of “Complete Book of Indian Cooking,” Hinduism.
