Jones School hosted INFORMS Marketing Science Conference
Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business hosted the 33rd Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) Marketing Science Conference June 9-11 at the InterContinental Hotel & Convention Center in Houston. The conference brought together more than 700 academics, practitioners and policymakers from around the world to present and discuss new research on a broad range of marketing science topics.
The conference was preceded by a doctoral consortium June 8 at the Jones School. One hundred of the best doctoral students in the world who represent 100 different universities attended a series of lectures by the top senior researchers in marketing, along with presentations from editors of the top academic journals.
