With the National Football League embroiled in contract disputes,
players across the country are finding themselves without a home. And
that includes the Houston Texans.

While they are barred from
Reliant Park, Texans players are participating in an unofficial,
player-run mini camp at Rice. Led by quarterback Matt Schaub and middle
linebacker DeMeco Ryans, more than 30 Texans players and draftees hit
the field at Rice Stadium this week to run drills and work out.
