Jones Partners Thought Leadership Series to host ‘Building a High Performance Culture’

The Jones Graduate School of Business will host “Building a High Performance Culture,” part of the Jones Partners’ Thought Leadership Series Nov. 28 at 6 p.m. in McNair Hall’s Shell Auditorium.

Featured speakers for the event will include Kirk Hachigian, CEO of Cooper Industries, and Brent Smith, associate dean of executive education at the Jones School.

Topics for the evening will include:

• Assessing organizational strengths and opportunities.

• Remaining focused and building from the core business.

• Executing strategy by clearly defining expectations and aligning accountabilities.

• The critical role of culture in a high-performance organization.

• Aligning systems to support high performance.

• The role of employee development in maintaining a high-performance organization.

The Jones Partners is a committed group of business professionals working to open doors and increase collaboration between the Jones School and the Houston business community. The Thought Leadership Series is comprised of several events throughout the year allowing the business community to gain perspectives on current issues from an industry leaders and Jones School faculty members by exploring current business trends and associated academic research and thought. These evening events are preceded by a networking cocktail reception.
