Sean Ferguson, assistant dean for degree programs at the Jones Graduate School of Business, has been elected to a four-year term on the Graduate Management Admission Council Board of Directors.

Ruth Lopez Turley, associate professor of sociology and director of the Kinder Institute’s Houston Education Research Consortium, has been appointed to the Committee on the Evaluation Framework for Successful K-12 STEM Education for the Division of Behavioral and Social Sciences and Education of the National Research Council of the National Academies.
