Chao Center to help preserve oral histories of Vietnamese Americans

(From left) Tani E. Barlow, the T.T. and W.F. Chao Professor of Asian Studies, professor of history and director of the T.T. and Wei Fong Chao Center for Asian Studies, and Nancy Bui, president of the Vietnamese America Heritage Foundation (VAHF), signed a memorandum of understanding April 30. The memorandum formalized the Chao Center’s partnership with the VAHF in the collection and preservation of 94 oral history interviews of Vietnamese Americans.
