Open season

This weekend Rice Owls beat Stanford in the 2013 season opening baseball game. Members of the 2003 College World Series team were on hand to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their victory. Fittingly, it was Stanford that Rice defeated in 2003 to claim the national title, which was the first in any team sport for the university.
