wins humanitarian prize for neonatal syringe

A team of recent Rice University engineering graduates has earned an
Outstanding Student Humanitarian Prize in the IEEE Presidents’ Change the World
competition. Team Zikomo was recognized for its senior design project, a
neonatal syringe pump for low-resource settings, a project supported by Beyond Traditional Borders,
the undergraduate education initiative of Rice
360
