RUPD’s new uniform

Sgt. Thomas Hudak is wearing the Rice University Police Department’s (RUPD) new uniform, which will debut May 8. According to Chief of Police Johnny Whitehead, the new uniform is more comfortable and fade-resistant, has permanent military creases for a more professional look, incorporates a consistent shade of blue shirt and is available from a local vendor. The new uniform also features RUPD’s new patch, which is shown on the lectern in the photo.
