Save the date: Town hall meeting set for Oct. 12

Faculty and staff are invited to a town hall meeting hosted by Rice President David Leebron Oct. 12 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Stude Concert Hall at the Shepherd School of Music. Leebron will address questions and issues, update the Rice community on the latest developments at the university and officially kick off the one-year countdown to Rice’s 100th anniversary in 2012.

Members of the Rice community can submit their thoughts, opinions, concerns and questions beforehand at http://staff.rice.edu/townhall/pre_event_survey.asp. The meeting will feature an informal discussion based on these submissions, followed by a question-and-answer session.
