Learning opportunities are plentiful at Rice’s Glasscock School this fall

The fall course catalog for Rice’s Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies that was mailed this month is replete with a wide range of course offerings, a few of which can be sampled for free at the school’s Fall Preview from 3 to 7 p.m. Sept. 7. This fall’s courses range from Innovations in Cancer Treatment and Prevention: A Houston Story and Inside the 2016 Elections to Music and Community: The Soundtrack of Your Life and other courses in the arts. The school also has classes in the humanities and sciences, foreign languages and personal and professional development. Most courses are held in the school’s state-of-the-art Anderson-Clarke Center. Selected courses are discounted up to 50 percent for Rice students, faculty and staff. Benefits-eligible faculty and staff may also apply for tuition reimbursement for job-related courses at the Glasscock School. Rice alumni now receive a 10 percent discount on all offerings for personal and professional development. Visit glasscock.rice.edu for course information and registration or call 713-348-4803.
