Friends of Fondren Library (FoFL) held its annual meeting at the Rice Faculty Club in August and featured Alison Weaver, executive director of the Moody Center for the Arts, as guest speaker. Founded in 1950 by a group of Rice alumni and friends who wanted to help the library grow its collections and improve its facilities, the organization is still committed to those goals more than 60 years later.
