Rice to honor veterans Nov. 11

Join Rice faculty, staff and students for the 14th annual Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 in the Rice Memorial Center’s Ray Courtyard.

The ceremony will be led by Corina Knowlton, executive assistant in Human Resources, and will feature remarks by Tom Kolditz, executive director of Rice’s Doerr Institute for New Leaders; William Lyles III, a graduate student at Rice’s Jones Graduate School of Business; and McMurtry College sophomore and Naval ROTC Midshipman Tullie St. John.

Music will be provided by the Marching Owl Band; Senhica Klee, a graduate student in Rice’s Shepherd School of Music, will sing the national anthem; and Matthew Ross, a graduate student in the Shepherd School, will perform taps.
