Physician-geneticist Francis Collins to speak at Rice March 30
Yumanity Therapeutics’ Tony Coles to join conversation of how people of faith view science and vice versa

HOUSTON – (March 24, 2017) – Dr. Francis Collins, leader of the Human Genome Project and founder of the BioLogos Foundation, and Dr. Tony Coles, chairman and CEO of Yumanity Therapeutics, will headline a Rice University conversation on how people of faith view science and how scientists view people of faith. Collins and Coles will address what people can do to reach common ground in education and other spheres of public life. Collins currently serves as the director of the National Institutes of Health but will be appearing at this event as a private citizen.

The event is sponsored by the Religion and Public Life Program at Rice, the BioLogos Foundation and the Institute for Spirituality and Health and is free and open to the public. Register at https://sciencereligionpubliclife.eventbrite.com.
