Community Bridges celebrates 5 years at Rice

Community Bridges, a service learning program for Rice University undergraduate students that aims to strengthen the relationship between Rice and Greater Houston, celebrated its fifth anniversary March 31. The program is part of Rice’s Kinder Institute for Urban Research. In honor of the occasion, the Kinder Institute hosted a reception attended by Kinder Institute staff, Community Bridges program students, program alumni and community partners. Engagement with the city of Houston was part of Rice’s Vision for the Second Century.
