Civil Rights Lawyer to Lecture April 13
Lani Guinier, a civil rights lawyer and professor at Harvard Law School, will present the Walter and Helen Hall Lecture at 8 p.m. April 13 at Hamman Hall.

The lecture is sponsored by the Department of Sociology, and the public is invited to attend. Guinier is the author of “Lift Every Voice.”

‘Perspectives’ Exhibit Focuses on Women
In honor of Women’s History Month, Rice Women’s Resource Center and the Student Center present the sculpture exhibit “Perspectives of Women.”

The artwork featured in this exhibit is the work of two female Rice artists, Meredith Hamm and Patricia Hernandez. The artwork is located in Kelley Lounge and Blair Lounge.

The exhibit is open to the public free of charge through April 17.

Special Olympics Seeking Volunteers
Rice has been chosen as the host site for the Special Olympics Texas summer games, and volunteers from the Rice community are being sought.

Thousands of athletes, coaches and parents will converge on the Rice area May 28-30 for the 30th annual Special Olympics games. Volunteers are needed to assist athletes.
