Rice MOOC to be featured on CNN

The Religion and Hip-Hop Culture MOOC that Rice will be offering next March through edX is scheduled to be featured on CNN Nov. 20 during the 3 p.m. hour. This MOOC — massive open online course — will be taught by Anthony Pinn and Bernard “Bun B” Freeman, who were interviewed about how a MOOC is produced. Pinn is the Agnes Cullen Arnold Professor of Humanities and professor of religion. Freeman is the Center for Engaged Research and Collaborative Learning’s Distinguished Lecturer.
