Fifth annual IBB Symposium is July 15

Rice’s Institute of Biosciences and Bioengineering will hold its fifth annual IBB Symposium in Duncan Hall from 1-7 p.m. July 15. This event is free and open to the entire Rice community.

Afternoon sessions will include presentations by IBB faculty in several bio-related topical areas. The Hamill Innovations Awards and the IBB Medical Innovations Award recipients and IBB Morse Fellows will be recognized at the event, and there will be a poster session for students and postdoctoral fellows, with cash prizes awarded in multiple categories.

A dinner honoring outgoing IBB Associate Director Diana Welch and welcoming incoming Associate Director Lisa Blinn will be held in Duncan Hall after the sessions. Guests and families are welcome to attend but reservations are required. Please send RSVP to kimberly@rice.edu.
