A ribbon for breast cancer awareness

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, students involved in the Rice Student Volunteer Program and Camp Kesem Rice donned pink and formed a human ribbon in the Academic Quad Oct. 29. According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer accounts for 29 percent of newly diagnosed cancers. It remains the second leading cause of death in women. Photo by Brandon Martin.
