The Rice University Police Department will host National Night Out Oct. 4 in the John and Anne Grove, near Baker, Will Rice and Hanszen colleges. Join the officers from 6 to 8 p.m. for music, fun, free food and giveaways. RUPD will also have a “Dunk a Cop” game to help raise money for charity.
National Night Out is an annual event that promotes police-community partnerships to make the community a safer, better place to live.
