International educators get a taste of a Texan residential college system

An international audience hosted by Professor of Chemistry John Hutchinson enjoyed Seibel Servery’s fare alongside students lunching in the Lovett College Commons Feb. 6 during the third biennial Collegiate Way International Conference. Held at Rice for the first time, the conference brings together representatives of universities and colleges throughout the world with residential college systems. Previously held in Durham, U.K., and Canberra, Australia, this year’s conference brought 40 representatives from 18 universities and seven countries to Rice for a taste of a Texan residential college system.
