In Herzstein Hall, associate dean of humanities and history professor Fay Yarbrough handed out pamphlets ahead of a session that focused on some of the School of Humanities’ most popular offerings, such as the new
Department of Transnational Asian Studies, courses in medical Spanish and 10 other languages offered through Rice’s Center for Language and Intercultural Communication, and the Program in Politics, Law and Social Thought.
